A region I know by heart

The Loire Valley that feels like you

The Loire Valley is so much more than Chambord, Chenonceau and a checklist of castles. It's a region you discover at the right pace: world-famous châteaux, remarkable gardens, charming villages, the banks of the Loire, long French lunches and the kind of addresses that give a trip its real flavour.

I know this region inside out. I know which castles are truly worth your time depending on what you love, when to visit to skip the busiest hours, where to stop for a memorable meal, which villages deserve a detour, and how to build an itinerary that flows, without spending your days on the road or stuck in a guidebook.

With SensVoyage, I create a tailor-made trip to the Loire Valley for you, far from copy-paste bus tours. A journey designed with care, at your own pace, between castles, gardens, villages, great tables and gentler moments in between, with one English-speaking planner who handles every detail.

You travel with peace of mind, a clear and personalized travel guide in hand, and the feeling of discovering a Loire that's more authentic, more elegant, more alive.

The ideal time

Spring to autumn

April → October

Gardens in bloom, long days, the Chaumont garden festival and terraces by the Loire. The best time to enjoy the châteaux and the gentle Loire way of life.

The rest of the year

Autumn & winter

November → March

A calmer, more intimate Loire: châteaux without the crowds, beautiful autumn light and Christmas magic in some châteaux. A few sites close or reduce their hours.

On site, a car is the freest way to link the châteaux and villages; along the river, cycling (the Loire à Vélo) is a real pleasure. I build the right balance for your itinerary.
